Our Progress 08/09
- Communication, we have introduced a new intranet site called “Connect” which has enabled real time communication to our stores.
- All Company Policies and Procedures are now available as reference tools on “Connect”.
- With the new EPOS system rolled out our staff now have access to e-learning and the initial focus has been on three basic Health and Safety modules.
- We have introduced training modules for staff and managers to support the customer experience in our stores.
Our targets 09/10

- To review the e-learning pilot and develop more modules.
- To promote all our benefits particularly via a new intranet site to ensure our staff are aware of the benefits available.
- Monitor the composition of our workforce to ensure we reflect the communities we operate within.
- To continue to increase training for all our staff including product knowledge, selling skills and management training.
