Neil Anscomb
My name is Neil Anscomb and I joined Carpetright in December 1998 as a salesman. Over the last 12 years that I have worked for Carpetright I have been given the opportunity to work my way through the ranks.
I was promoted to the position of Assistant Manager and I was responsible for helping to run the store on a daily basis and learning all aspects of the Management role. I was lucky enough to have a very caring manager, who helped me to develop my skills, and I learned a variety of different management techniques to assist me in a Store Management role.
In 2000 I was promoted to Store manager and was responsible for ensuring that the team gave our customers great customer service, motivating and building the team to achieve their sales targets, and a number of other areas required in the day to day running of a Carpetright store. I had great team around me at the branches that I managed and together we worked extremely hard and we became very successful.
In 2009 I was promoted to the role of Regional Sales Manager and I am now responsible for 20 stores throughout Kent and parts of Sussex.
