Carpetright Netherlands and Belgium

In the summer of 2002 Carpetright expanded the business into Continental Europe. The Carpetright concept of choice, service and value for money was successfully transferred and refreshed to suit market demands. The Continental flooring market is different from the UK, with a greater proportion of sales in laminates, vinyls and rugs.  The European Division has grown market share to 20% across the product groups, and is now recognised as a leading flooring specialist across the Benelux market.

Carpetright Europe is market leader in carpet sales and each country unit has tailored its product range to suit local market demands. The range of product choice extends to laminate, vinyl and rugs offering an equally outstanding collection from stock or to order.

In July 2008 Carpetright Europe acquired competitor business‘Ben De Graaff, adding more stores to the portfolio. Carpetright Europe now operates from 89 stores in the Netherlands and a further 28 in Belgium, with further plans for High Street store expansion.
